World Gatka Federation & its affiliated National Gatka Federations & Associations are reviving, promoting and standardizing Indian ancient traditional Sikh martial art Gatka as a recognized game at national & international level in all countries, schools, universities for self-defence sport.

Gatka is like sword fighting and stick fighting, also called "Nihang Singh game" being taught in training centers (Akharas) that uses weapons like Khanda, Kirpan, Talwar, Chakkar, Jamdarh, Marhatti, Hammer, Neja, Barcha, Gandasa, Bhala, Tir Kaman, Soti, Farri, Stick (Lathi) etc.
