2. Our wardrobe design experts will come to your home at a time convenient to you

3. You can discuss your specific requirements, space constraints, and design ideas with our expert, and we will come up with suggestions to match

4. Using the Urban Storage App, you can design your own wardrobe

5. Once you’re happy with the wardrobe design, you can place an order online

6. Your personalised designer wardrobe will be delivered to you within 35 days of order confirmation

Tips to help you design your own wardrobe

Wardrobes are typically a one-time purchase, and you need to put some thought into getting the right wardrobe design. Here are some tips that may help you.

Doors: For rooms with space constraints, choose sliding door wardrobes. These do not swing outdoors, and therefore, take up less room. We also offer L-shaped wardrobes if a corner is all you have to build your storage

Finishes: The finish of your wardrobe doors determines the look of your bedroom. So, think beyond conventional brown finishes and dare to be bold. For instance, mirrored panels on the doors reflect light and make your room appear modern and spacious. We use Merino laminates (1mm) for all our finishes, and our extensive range includes matte, glossy, and textured options.

Partitions: Think about who will be using the wardrobe when you decide the inner configuration. Will you be sharing equally with your partner? Will the kids have sections for themselves? Also consider what you will be storing in the wardrobe: clothes like sarees and suits are best hung up to prevent wrinkles, while jeans and casuals can be folded into stacks. If you have a lot of accessories or files to store, drawers will come in handy.

Add-ons: Your bed will typically take up one wall in your bedroom, and the wardrobe will have the next. So, it’s important that you make the most of the space available.
