MapMe allows you to locate your friends on the map in real time.

MapMe by Circle is an application that allows you to locate your mutually approved friends on the map in real-time, displayed by the range you specify, shown by a circle around your location, or you can choose to show all of your friends, no matter how far they are.

The application is useful for

- tracking a friend of a family member while they are traveling or coming to visit you,

- watching the location of a friend you are waiting for a lunch, dinner, or a cup of coffee,

- tracking your child's location for safety reasons etc.

You can track a friend's movement in real-time, saving an effort to to call them and ask where they are. It will show you the exact location of your friends at any time, provided they have the application active and have not chosen to be hidden in the application, which is an option, too.

You can not only see your friends on the map, but you can either send them an SMS, call them, or navigate to their location by tapping on the marker showing their location. You can also see the time of their last update, to avoid confusion about their actual location.

The map section allows you to limit the number of friends being displayed by the range you specify, shown by a circle around your location, or you can choose to show all friends, no matter the range.

You can show the friends on the map by their short name, their email, or the phone number.

You can also have the map continuously centerd on a certain friend and track him/her as he/she is moving.

Likewise, you can have the map centered on yourself while driving or walking and want the map to follow you.

For a peace of mind, MapMe by Circle will upload your location only if the app is running and if you allow it in the Settings. If you do no want to be visible to your friends for the time being, there is a Hide me option for that. It will hide you for as long as the option is checked.

To control the battery drain, you can adjust how often your location is updated.

Account management allows:

- Creating an account

- Remembering account credentials on the device

- Changing the password

- Recovering the account in case of a lost password

Profile management allows the following:

- Changing the display name

- Changing the phone number

- Selecting whether you wish to be seen on the map by your friends or not

Friends management allows:

- Searching for friends

- Sending and receiving friend requests

- Accepting or denying friend requests

- Removing accepted friends

Settings allows you to configure:

- The radius applied to the map

- The frequency of location updates
