With the new augmented reality app you can bring your car picture magazine to life.

Auto BILD brings virtual reality to your Android device - without 3D glasses and elaborate software. With the new free augmented reality app you can get valuable additional information on your smartphone or tablet.

Auto BILD provides videos, engine noises, audio books, 3D models or additional images for many stories in the booklet. You can also use interactive elements such as appointment memories, competitions and live votes via the app.

The AUTO BILD Augmented Reality APP runs on your Android smartphone with Android 2.3 or higher, back camera and a screen size of min. 320x480 pixels. A stable internet connection is required to use the app (3G, LTE or WiFi).

And this is how it works:

1. Download the free Augmented Reality (AR) app from Auto Bild on your mobile device from the Playstore.

2. In the car picture magazine look for pages with the AR symbol.

3. Open the app, activate the scan function and keep your device over the page so that the camera can capture it.

4. When the app has scanned the page, a button appears. Click on it and already see the new content.
